Welcome to a classic home in the heart of San Francisco's Lakeside neighborhood. This gracious three-bedroom, three-bath mid-century home invites you into a world of charm and elegance across its three levels.

As you enter, you are greeted by the warmth of beautiful hardwood floors that span throughout the house.  The living spaces boast classic mid-century charm with exquisite tray ceilings, creating an inviting atmosphere for both relaxation and entertaining.

The heart of the home lies in the modern kitchen, a culinary haven featuring a gas range, double ovens, and sleek granite countertops. Whether you're a seasoned chef or just enjoy hosting gatherings, this kitchen is sure to inspire culinary delights and memorable moments. There is handy breakfast bar for casual morning coffee and breakfast.

With three bedrooms spread across the upper split level, each offering ample space and natural light, this residence provides a perfect balance of privacy and togetherness. The three well-appointed bathrooms ensure convenience and comfort for everyone. On the lower level there is a charming wood paneled den that could function as a fourth bedroom easily as it is serviced by the third full bathroom on this floor. However the convenient wet bar says it could be so much more!

Step outside onto the expansive deck with a surrounding nature sanctuary where birds gather and sing and squirrels stop by for a visit.. This generous outdoor space provides an ideal setting for al fresco dining, relaxation, and enjoying the picturesque beauty of the colors that surround the property.

As a fully detached home, it has outlooks to trees and greenery from most windows, plus an expansive Western View for sunsets to enjoy in the early evenings from a comfy enclosed sun porch at the upper bedroom.

This residence seamlessly combines mid-century aesthetics with modern conveniences, creating a harmonious blend of style and functionality. With its prime Lakeside location and close proximity to amenities such as Stonestown Galleria with Target, Trader Joes and Whole Foods, this home presents a rare opportunity to experience the best of city living in a private and enchanting setting. Welcome to a life of comfort, sophistication, and timeless appeal.

The Lake Shore area around Lake Merced was developed just before and after World War II as a "model community," with housing composed entirely of single-family residences.
Like Park Merced, the real estate was state-of-the-art when built. A trip from the lake to Fort Funston shows you what most of Western San Francisco looked like before it was developed: vast sand dunes with a few sturdy flowers and trees dotting the landscape.

The Stonestown Galleria is near San Francisco State University. Stern Grove, the world-renowned Olympic Club, Harding Park Municipal Golf Course and the San Francisco Golf Club all are scenic components of this neighborhood. Pine Lake Park is an enclave of family residences adjacent to Stern Grove, and many beautiful homes border the golf courses.

The Lakeside District was conceived by Ellis and Henry Stoneson.  Their vision was as a "Garden community of small homes" which they developed in three phases; Lakeside I (north section); Lakeside II (middle section); Lakeside III (south section).  The development included the Lakeside Village shopping corridor.  The construction of Lakeside spanned from 1936 - 1950.
